While doing a bit more research on the topic of the Chinese Zodiac, I discovered that “t here are also animal signs assigned by month (called inner animals), by day (called true animals) and hours (called secret animals).” However, for our purposes we will stick to the big picture of the basics of the Chinese Zodiac. These animals are used to represent or predict qualities of personality, or life events. These animal signs describe how others perceive you, or how you present yourself. ![]() This is the order of the 12 year cycle: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, money, rooster, dog, and pig. In the Chinese Zodiac, there are 12 animals, that are assigned based on the year of a person’s birth. ![]() Happy dog year everyone!Īre you part dog too?
